Denmark Trip - Part 5
A few more pictures from Legoland . . .
All over the park, there were play areas where kids could take a break and build legos (they also had building stations near the lines of many of the rides, so the kids could build while the adults waited). Waveboy certainly enjoyed the opportunity to build with Legos . . .
Near the end of the line at one ride, there was a treasure chest full of pacificers--we call them "plugs." We tried to convince Waterboy that he should drop his plug in the chest, but he quickly nixed that idea.
While the park certainly sold typical amusement park food—hamburgers, pizza, candy, etc.—I was so surprised by the sight of a fresh fruit cart that I stopped to take a picture . . .
At the hotel, Waterboy (with his plug firmly in place) enjoyed making a Lego friend. He was quite fascinated by what was, to him, a life-size Lego person.
And at the hotel, Waveboy entered the building contest both nights. The theme for the month was "Summer Adventure", and while I could understand why his first entry didn't win (it was some sort of factory, or so he said), I was surprised that his second entry—a surfer whose wheels gave the statue real surfer action—did not win a prize. He took the loss well, though, and we took several pictures of it . . .
